Today we’ll be decorating Science Flask Cookies! This tutorial will aid in your mastery of the wet-on-wet technique; as well as forcing you to plan ahead by requiring the use of multiple different royal icing colors in quick succession.
In order to use this technique correctly, you’ll need to work fast. Pipe each part immediately after the last to complete everything before the icing dries.
You’ll need the following colors and consistencies of royal icing to decorate these cookies:
- Flood consistency: White, purple, orange, yellow, green and blue.
- Medium consistency: White.
