More and more subscribers on my YouTube channel have been asking for a tutorial on the filigree technique; here it is! I also drew up a template, so you can practice. I’ll be posting another tutorial on how to apply this technique to cookies and cupcakes.

To practice the technique, you’ll need flood consistency royal icing. I suggest using some extra icing you happen to have on hand.

How do u remove the filigree and the roses off the Wilton tip spinner??

You can’t use the tip spinner to make filigree decorations.
You need to use a small square of parchment paper to remove the rose from the flower nail as shown in this video: https://youtu.be/NTzmRS80oz0
